PurposeGate is operated by DataStreams Solutions ("PurposeGate", "we", "us") and provides a focus and app-gating service. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Account identifiers and authentication metadata through Clerk.
• App configuration and focus settings required to run blocking and templates.
• Event telemetry about focus sessions, template usage, and onboarding progress.
• Coach messages, notes, and templates when you choose to use coaching features.
• Subscription status metadata from RevenueCat (not your full payment details).
• Optional contact hashes when you use peer matching features.

How We Use Information

• Operate app gating, reminders, streaks, and progress insights.
• Sync your settings and templates across your devices.
• Provide subscription access and restore purchases.
• Diagnose reliability issues and improve product quality.

Screen Time Data

PurposeGate uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks to provide app gating and usage insights. App and category selections are represented by Apple-provided tokens. We do not use Screen Time data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate PurposeGate (e.g., hosting, auth, billing), under contractual data-protection terms.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed for legal, fraud prevention, and operational requirements. You can delete your account from PurposeGate settings or request deletion by email.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact privacy@purposegate.com.

Children

PurposeGate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
